This book looks back at the analyse and critique work produced around the installations exhibited in la Chapelle des Calvairiennes (Mayenne, France). The concept is based on spatial sensations: when we visit an exhibition, we explore, wander, turn around the artworks; we synthetise them to better appreciate them in their globality but also to appreciate them in their details to understand them intimately, closely.
art in context is thus a guide, that tries to reflect both the past spatial feelings of the exhibitions and the mental wandering of the texts created, generated by those same exhibitions.
